Golden Retriever Club Championship Show. Judge Mrs Pat Tuck
(Tamsbrook). Messano Blueprint,
1st Special Veteran Dog, Best Veteran In Show (Mrs Heather
Morris). We were so pleased with Jamie's win, he moved so
well and didn't look anywhere near his 12.5 years. The last
time he was shown under Pat Tuck, Jamie won a first, but he
was only 18 months old! |

Stop
press! At 06.25 Wednesday morning, 14 hours after the last
puppy had been delivered, Wendy produced another bitch! This
brings the total to 6 bitches and 5 dogs. |

They
have arrived! Wendy delivered her first puppy today at 03.30
and the 10th at 16.20. We think that she has finished but
cannot be sure. She has had 5 dogs and 5 bitches ranging from
14 - 17 ozs. Mother and babies are doing well! |

No
shows for us this weekend. Keeper and Möpi were entered
at Newark, but Wendy's puppies are due on Monday and she is
so large that we dare not leave her for long!
Hopefully we will soon have some news to report! |

was an excellent weekend for Messano Goldens! Results are
as follows:
Sat 5th Oct - South Of England Gundog Club Open Show. Judge:
Jackie Sparrow (Scarholme). Messano Keepsake , 2nd Minor
Puppy.This was Keeper's first show and we were very pleased
with his second place behind a very nice puppy. Messano
Jitterbug, 3rd Junior Bitch.
Golden Retriever Club Of Scotland Open Show. Judge: Alistair
Scott (Largymore). Messano Keep A Secret From Moloko, Keeper's
sister owned by Mary Neil, was awarded Best Puppy in Show
at exactly 6 months of age.
Chelmsford & District Canine Society Open Show. Judge:
Peter Spratt (Unavale) Pat & Nadine Barber's Messano
Judge For Yourself , 1st Junior Bitch.
Sun 6th Oct. Wellingborough & District Canine Society.
Judge: David Waters (Maudenhall), Messano Keepsake, 2nd
Puppy Dog. Judge: Jacqui Smallcombe (Robscraig), Messano
Give Me Faith (back after a years break for maternal
duties), 1st Limit Bitch.
Messano Jitterbug , 1st Junior Bitch and on BIS Judge's
decision, Best Of Breed. Möpi was then awarded Res
Best In Show by BIS Judge Sally-Ann Neath-Duggab (Buffrey),
not bad for a 14 month old bitch!
Great Yarmouth & District Canine Society Open Show.
Judge: Dee Milligan-Bott (Thendara). Pat & Nadine Barber's
Messano Judge For Yourself , 1st Junior, Best Of Breed and
Group 3. Well done everyone!

Exemption Show. Judge: Mrs Jean Gisborne (Jandena). We do
not usually attend exemption shows, but used this one as training
session before Keeper's first 'proper' show next weekend.
He won the puppy class and best Puppy In Show, so it was worthwhile
attending! |

This was the girls last show in puppy, as today was their
