This photo shows the puppy at 5 days of age, the last day
spent with Faith.

Unfortunately,
even after 5 days, Faith was not producing any milk. This
involved Julie bottle-feeding the puppy every two hours
or so, day and night. We were also concerned about the
long-term outcome for the puppy due to having no siblings
to socialise with, this could have led to temperamental
problems.
The
decision to place her with a foster-mother, who could
feed the puppy and who had puppies of her own for our
puppy to socialise with, was made after we had the kind
offer from a friend. Puppy is now with Auntie Dynah and
her puppies, who are 3 days younger than Faith's. We will
be visiting her regularly, and will post photographs after
the visit. Watch this space!

Julie visited puppy today with her foster-mother and foster-brothers
and sisters. She is the darker puppy, third from the right.

This is a photo of the foster-mum. Dynah has 7 puppies of
her own and has accepted our puppy as one of her babies.
Dynah is related to Faith, Faith is a Boysie Grand-daughter
and Dynah is a Boysie Great-Grand-daughter.

We visited puppy on Wednesday evening, she has been putting
on weight and growing a pretty mid-gold coat.......
