'Baby Faith' (Messano Goes To Sunnyfields) winning her Croation Junior Champion title at Zagreb International Show held on 27/02/2010. Faith is Rumour's sister from the 'U' Litter.

We purchased our first Golden Retriever as a pet in 1983. Our interest in showing began in a similar way to many peoples, we attended obedience classes with 'Amber of Saint Margarets' and became interested in the ringcraft training that was running in conjunction with the obedience classes.
Although 'Amber' was successful in a modest way, we very soon realised that she was no showgirl. We decided to add another Golden to our family and in 1985, 'Barklands X-Planation of Messano' joined us.

We bred our first litter in 1988, and 'Bracken' is in the pedigree of all our dogs that we have bred. Our second litter, born in 1990, contained our 'Blue Babies', 'Messano Blueprint' 'Jamie' and 'Messano Blue Savannah', 'Briar'. These two were responsible for our early success, especially 'Jamie'.
His show career included a Res. CC, 5 x BIS and 5 x RBIS. He won dozens of BOB's and the ECGRC points trophy on two occasions. He had brains as well as beauty and was the holder of a SGWC.
Jamie also sired many beautiful puppies and was a 'Local Legend' for the superb temperament that was passed to his offspring.
